A working group was created due to the Resolution of the Standing Commission of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly on Culture, Informatization, Tourism and Sports of 13 October 2007.
The Committee commissioned the members of the working group to elaborate the concept and structure of the Model Code of Intellectual Property till 1 March 2008.
Volodymyr Polokhalo, the Chairman of the Committee on Science and Education, was elected Leader of the working group.
The working group includes the People´s Deputies, the representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine and the State Department of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
